Our Toddler Program provides care for children ages 20 -30 months with a teacher to child ratio of 1:6. This program has a daily curriculum which supports the beginnings of social interaction between children. At this stage of development, children engage in parallel play which allows them to begin mastery of simple tasks. Toddlers are working on mastering fine motor skills such as pincher grasp and hand/eye coordination.
The toddler curriculum is written and implemented to allow for activities such as pouring, sorting, painting, and putting together puzzles with large pieces and knobs so that little hands can accommodate them more easily.
The daily schedule and daily written curriculum are posted on the Parent Bulletin Board in the Toddler classroom.
